Your School Photography FAQs Answered
School Picture Days are scheduled in the fall and spring. You will be sent a calendar of available dates to schedule. We will discuss dates that work with your school calendar to find the best time. Fall portraits typically involve classic, clean style portraiture. In the spring, we offer a more casual option, as well as graduation portraits, if desired.

- Decide on picture day dates and finalize picture day agreement.

- We will arrive 90 minutes prior to start time to meet teachers and set-up.

Yes, absolutely. Laurie Coleman Photography is fully licensed and insured. We prioritize the safety and security of our students and clients. Our insurance coverage not only protects our business but also provides peace of mind to our clients in the rare event of any unforeseen circumstances. If you have any specific concerns or need more details, feel free to ask.
While we normally offer a variety of portrait packages that includes both digital and print options, we are happy to try and accommodate any special needs or requests your school may have.
Within two weeks following school picture day, parents or guardians will receive an email granting access to an exclusive online gallery designed to browse and place product orders. Print orders are mailed directly to the student's home. Schools are completely relieved of any involvement in money handling or order form processing.
We are committed to student safety. This includes requiring background checks for all photographers and assistants, as well as adhering to school policies throughout your school picture day.
In addition to individual school portraits, we offer complimentary staff portraits to support our school community.
We also provide specialized services such as group portraits, school branding, and event photography, which are available at a discount to our family of schools.
